Open Question: Yet another question on penis bend and curvature?
I have a question about a the bend and curvature of my penis. I know there are a lot of questions like this posted on this site. But I think mine might be slightly different than most.
As far as the length and width I’m average. But instead of my erect penis pointing up or straight out like most mens mine points somewhat towards the ground all the way from the base and slightly towards the left. Also it is curved and the curve goes downward towards the ground. Also and I don’t think this much of a problem in the grand scheme of things but since it points towards the left when I pick up my erect penis and move it up towards my belly it twists towards the left also. But theres no pain or anything.
I’ve been looking at tons of medical pictures of penises on the net for the past few days and have only seen one or two out of hundreds that look like mine.
But my main concern is that although I’ve been on dates before I’ve never gotten into a relationship serious enough to lead to sex. So what I’m concerned about is that since my penis is bent AND curved the way it is it might make sex in the missionary position somewhat difficult.
For example with most men if their penis goes straight out or up they could get right on top of the woman and have it go in with no problems. But since mine is bent and curved downwards I think it might make getting it in there the whole way more difficult.
I’m not sure exactly what I should do about it. I’ve been doing some research online and from what I can tell I’m pretty sure that I don’t have Peyronie’s Disease. Because mine isn’t curved at anywhere near that much of an angle and the curve isn’t sudden. More of a gradual curve almost from the base of the penis. But I’m still concerned that the way it is bent and curved might present a problem.
Also to complicate matters I’m only 19, still live with my parents, and my health insurance is covered through them also. So I’d like to see a urologist to know whether or not it’s fine the way it is. Or if I should get some kind of traction device or (god forbid) surgery. But the only way to do so would be to tell my parents and have them schedule an appointment. Which would be the most awkward dinner conversation ever.
I don’t think the bendage and curvature is anything that necessarily needs immediate treatment or it will get progressively worse. Because it’s been that way for as long as I can remember. But needless to say if something is wrong I would like to get it treated as soon as possible.
So before I say anything to my parents and completely embarrass myself I figured I’d ask the (hopefully knowledgeable) people at Yahoo Answers for their opinions. Do you guys (and girls) think what I have might present a problem with having sex in some positions?
If anything getting at least the curve out of it I believe would make matters much better.
